Kelly is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and was most recently contracted by the National Football League to join the Player Health & Safety team on an unprecedented project to ensure COVID-19 protocols were in line with the CDC guidelines for the 2020 season. As a leader on this project Kelly was responsible for making sure all Game Day Assistants across the League and Clubs were tested for COVID-19 weekly prior to game day. In 2019, Kelly also served the National Football League as a valuable member of the Information Technology team and helped spearhead the Parents Initiative Network (PIN) a business resource group created to support work/life balance for NFL parents.
Kelly’s passion for mental health and emotional intelligence and wellness education began in 2016 after having had her own personal battle as a neurodivergent, Bipolar Black woman, and learning what it takes to thrive and develop a resilience mindset. In 2016 Kelly was a NYC Triathlon Finisher (where she made her cameo appearance on NY1). While also fundraising for the Trilatino Triathlon Club, a Bronx based organization devoted to engaging youth of color in endurance sports.
In 2016 Kelly also worked in Rwanda as a Communications Project Manager for Educate!, a leadership and entrepreneurial education non-profit. Where she assisted with organizing large scale events, including a site visit from the UK Department for International Development.
Kelly received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology & Anthropology with a focus in Education from Middlebury College, one of the top 10 liberal arts colleges in the north east. Pandemic life for Kelly includes quarantine in Brooklyn, NY with her partner and three-year old. To stay sane in the pandemic Kelly enjoys cooking with her little one, hiking, and meditation.
