Shanell Brumfield brings more than ten years of experience in education, mental health, and workforce development experience. In her current role at the Foundation for California Community Colleges (FCCC), she is responsible for offering technical assistance and capacity building to education and apprenticeship practitioners across California. Before coming to the Foundation for California Community Colleges, Shanell has worked with YouthBuildUSA, River Oak Center for Children, and Edelman. In her roles at the aforementioned organizations, she has used data analysis, program evaluation, and research to guide strategic planning efforts, enhance technical assistance, and advocate for advocacy efforts. Shanell holds a M.A. in Education and B.A in Communication Studies from California State University, Sacramento.
