About this talk

The fundamental premise of the “Bioeconomy” is converting agricultural waste into consumable products, chemicals and energy to support economic growth and job creation. The initiative is led by the Agricultural Technology Innovation Partnership (ATIP) Foundation, an affiliate with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and in partnership with Economic Development Corporations in the San Joaquin Valley. This session will provide workforce development practitioners with the knowledge necessary to provide the education and training necessary to support the growth of the bioeconomy in California.
